Partnership development of user and carer involvement is continuing to improve and develop across the region, with many areas now employing dedicated staff to address this agenda.
The NTA have reviewed their relationship between the regional team and users and carers across the region and quarterly meetings with the NTA regional team continue to be held with both user and carer representatives. Further details of how to receive invitations to these meetings can be obtained from Sue Hunter.
In 2009, the East Midlands Regional Family and Carer Forum created the East Midlands Family and Carer Strategy - a reference tool and good practice guide for partnerships across the East Midlands looking to improve family/carer involvement at all levels across a partnership area. This was published by the NTA East Midlands team on behalf of the forum in December 2009.
