The London NTA Team held a Needs Assessment event on Monday 25 October aimed at encouraging a wide range of local stakeholders to engage with the drug treatment needs assessment process currently taking place in boroughs.  This was with the wider aim of ensuring the needs of drug users were included in the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment process.  The day was a great success and consisted of a number of presentations from a range of speakers.  Also included are links to further information on access to external data sources which may assist with your needs assessment process.  These documents sit alongside the previously released national Needs Assessment Guidance. Further supplementary guidance documents are likely to be published following the release of the drugs strategy in December 2010.   Further information will be distributed via the website and the regional team as this becomes available.
