Over £39 million has been confirmed for 2009/10 for the Integrated Drug Treatment System (IDTS), which aims to increase the volume and quality of drug treatment in prisons and promote continuity of care between prisons and the community. From 1 April 2009, funding for IDTS will be available in all adult prisons in England.
