Rise in number of cocaine-dependent women entering treatment

Cocaine has emerged as the fastest growing treatment need among women drug users of child-bearing age in England.

While heroin and crack addiction is declining among women, the number of cocaine-dependent women under-35 newly entering treatment has increased 60 per cent in the last four years. `
