UKDPC on-line survey of support for adult family members and/or carers of people with drug problems

UKDPC send a big thank you to all of you who have already completed this UKDPC on-line survey. However, they say “we know there are more services out there and we want to ensure we get a complete picture of the level and nature of support available to adult family members/carers of people experiencing problems with drugs.

So whether you are a small self-help group, a more formal service, a drug treatment agency who supports family members, or are part of a generic carers organisation or support group, if you provide support to relatives/carers affected by drugs and have not already completed a questionnaire we would be really grateful if you could complete the short survey – it will take less than 10 minutes to complete.”

You can access the questionnaire by clicking on this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/UKDPC_Families_Survey7

The deadline for completing the survey is 4 July 2011.

The UKDPC (UK Drug Policy Commission) project will help us promote the importance of support for families and identify areas of greatest need for development as well as spreading good practice. The project is being done with financial support from Scottish Families Affected by Drugs (SFAD), Adfam and the Pilgrim Trust and is being undertaken by Professor Alex Copello and Lorna Templeton. If you have already received a link to this survey from another source and completed a questionnaire thank you very much for your help, you do not need to complete another one. If you have any queries about the survey please contact Nicola Singleton at nsingleton@ukdpc.org.uk or on 020 7812 3794. Moreinformation about the UK Drug Policy Commission and previous research undertaken about families and carers can be found at:http://www.ukdpc.org.uk/current.shtml#Families_research
