The 2008/09 data from the National Drug Treatment Monitoring System will be collated for adults in drug treatment in England and published on Thursday 8 October at 0930.

This data will include figures for all drug action partnerships except Safer Bristol, which, due to concerns over data quality, will not be included. Safer Bristol announced in a press release last month that it was remedying the problem by purchasing new data collection software, and would submit correct figures as soon as possible. Data for drug treatment activity in England 2008/09 will be updated to include quality assured figures from Bristol before the end of the year.

Information about substance misuse services accessed by young people will be published later in the year.
