Interest
The NTA ask that all persons/institutions interested in using the TOP outside of England formally request authorisation to do so. You can do this by contacting paul.hammond@nta-nhs.org.uk. Additionally we would be grateful if you could provide us with some brief information on your intentions to implement/translate the TOP by completing this brief proforma and periodically update us on your progress.

We are also keen to facilitate communication between different institutions/countries that may have similar interests with regard to the translation and implementation of the TOP and would like to gain your consent for publishing a contact email address on our website.

Additionally if you are willing to share your translated versions of the TOP we would encourage you to forward them to us so as we can make them widely available through this section of our site.

Disclaimer
We must advise that the TOP has only been validated for use in England with drug using clients over the age of 16yrs, who are accessing structured treatment and reporting to the National Drug Treatment Monitoring System (NDTMS) therefore, its limitations should be recognised prior to its application in another setting or with a different population. The application of TOP outside of its primary purpose may require a validation study to be undertaken.
